Course Description: Current technologies for teaching and learning mathematics with understanding. We looked at several technologies for multiple representations of mathematical ideas, modeling, and authentic learning environments. We also researched psychological and mathematical perspectives on learning mathematics. Part of the course was dedicated to researching and understanding the Principals and Standards of Mathematics and the underlying process of aligning lesson plans and technology integration into K-12 math courses.

We utilized the broad concept of digital citizenship and its implications including ethical and safe practices in online learning. During thiis course, we created units of study using an online learning management system.
